Dental ML is an innovative application that utilizes machine learning to identify dental implant systems and oral pathologies from images. By analyzing a given photo, the application provides the top three potential implant systems or types of pathologies and detaches an accuracy percentage for each guess. Users can conveniently share results via email or text, or save them directly to their photo gallery.

The Challenge

However, the current efficacy of Dental ML leaves much to be desired.

Insufficient sample images of x-rays and pathologies hinder the app's accuracy. It is essential for users not to dismiss the tool merely based on its current limitations. As more dental professionals utilize Dental ML and contribute additional samples, the algorithm’s performance is expected to enhance. Your participation is crucial in this endeavor.

How to Contribute

• Upload multiple implant x-rays and/or images of oral pathologies.
• To submit, click the "Upload" button, photograph relevant cases, select appropriate labels from our label picker, and submit your upload.
• Please ensure that all uploaded photos are de-identified to maintain patient confidentiality.
